I descend from Elias Worley and Lavinia Grace. Elias was born in Va. bet. 1810-1821. Lavinia was born 1823 in Tn. They married Dec. 24, 1837 in Johnson Co., Tn. Lavinia died after 1870. Their children were: mary Jane, Margaret E., James H., William H., Delilah C., Susannah C., Robert R., Edward C., Martha M., Hester A.L., Cynthia R. and Joseph A.

Delilah md. Wiley Christopher Elrod Nov 19, 1863 in Johnson Co., Tn. They are my gggrandparents.

Some sources list Nicholas and Patience Worley as the parents of Elias. Other evidence lists Grey Jenkins Worley and Nancy Lavinia Odom as his parents.
