I am sorry for I wrote the wrong birth year for Robert "Robin"
Woolfolk, not 1721 but cir 1725 or 6. He was not the oldest son of Robert
Woolfolk, Richard was.
Robert I, lived in the area of King and
Queen Co., that fell in Caroline when it was formed. Several fires have destroyed all the colonial King &
Queen records. He was a landowner before Nov 1719 when this will was written:
Virginia Colonial Absracts - Fleet
Essex Co., Va. Will Book 3, p 144
Will of Thos. Petitt of South Farnham
Parish - dated 18 Nov. 1719
Or Unto my son Thomas all that tract and parcell of land situate in King and
Queen County beginning on the river in Collo. Peter Beverley's line ... to Robt Woolfolks corner tree ... line of Robert Powell ... containing 500 acres.
Curiously there is another deed with the Pettits:
Caroline County Order Book - 12 Mar 1741/2 - A deed from Thomas Pettit to Robert
Woolfolk was proved by John
Baylor,
Gent. Thomas Jones and Richard
Woolfolk, witnesses thereto.

Death of Robert
Woolfolk I.
13 Apr 1744
Caroline Co. The last will & testament of Robert
Woolfolk was presented by John Bay [
Baylor]
Gent. and Richard
Woolfolk, executors therein named and Frances
Woolfolk, executrix and proved by Samuel Coleman, Thomas White & James
Riddle, witnesses thereto. The executors and executrix with Richd. Taliaferro and Benja Robinson their securities ack their bond.
12 Apr 1745 - The inventory & appraisement of the estate of Robert
Woolfolk returned.
The last record for the widow Frances was in 1760, thus she died after that date. (
Caroline Co. Order Books)
James
Riddle, as mentioned above, had land that adjoined Robert & Frances
Woolfolk as per road reports from the Caroline Order books.
