Edwin C. Woodrow
ZANESVILLE: Edwin C. Woodrow, 72, of Zanesville, Ohio died at 8:45 P.M. on Monday, February 4, 2013, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House.
He was born June 27, 1940, in Zanesville, Ohio a son of the late Russell and Margaret Britt Woodrow.
He was owner and operator of The Bug House, where he specialized in foreign car repairs.
He was a member of a 12 Step Program for 32 years, enjoyed traveling, and truly loved to help people.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Sandra Smith Woodrow, whom he married June 18, 1960, of the home; two sons, Craig (Billie) Woodrow of Somerset, Ohio and Eric (Debbie) Woodrow of Zanesville; a daughter Stephanie (Doug) Smith of Zanesville; nine grandchildren, Tia (Doug) Bettinger, Stormie Parrish, Courtney (Kyle) Shirer, Brady Smith, McKenzie (Tim) Reed, Alexandria Woodrow, Carly Smith, Eli Woodrow, and Carigan Woodrow; five great grandchildren, Olyvia, Isabella, Regan, Jaxxson, and Zoie; two brothers, John Woodrow of Coshocton, Ohio and Russ (Shirley) Woodrow of Dresden, OH; three sisters, Nancy Jennings of Zanesville, Carol Smith of Zanesville, and Margaret (Mark) Place of Bristol, TN; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother William Woodrow; and two sisters, Marcia Osborn and Mary Jane Woodrow.
Friends and family may call from 12:00 P. M. until time of remembrance service at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 400 Pleasant Grove Road, Zanesville, with Pastors Linda Morrow and Herb Alexander officiating.
A dignified cremation will take place. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville.
