Dear Robert,
Simon Warmack in War of Tx. (1836-1846) got land grant in
ellis Co. Tx. his son Rev. Reubin B Waramack signed Mar.
certifacates with this name.
Timothy Durgan Warmack signed court and legal documents this way. he also somtimes went by Timothy Womack. I have
seen a bible and documents. he passed this name to his kids
and they passed it on to thier kids. This Durgan family
starts with timothy Durgan in N.C. in 1627. William durgan
is in Effingham Co. Ga. A hendrick Dugin is at Fort Hawkins
at the time of David Blackshear and McIntosh. Please Write
to WEasteden@aol.com John Warmack had son Simon. This Simon had land in Carroll Co. Ms. in 1840,Holmes Co. Ms. in 1 1850. Also Benjamin had son Simon died in civil war.
