Dear Lena, I came across your request for information on the Wobser family from the Sandusky, Ohio area. My grandfather was Herman Wobser. He was born and raise in Sandusky, Ohio. He moved to Toledo, Ohio where he lived with my grandmother, Alice Bradley Wobser. My aunt, Ruth Brown and my mother, Lois Brinning have some information about the Wobser family. Perhaps you have already been in contact with Ruth since she is very interested in ancestry searches. I do know that Tom Mixx, the cowboy was a first cousin to my grandfather, Herman. If I can be of further help, please feel free to contact me at sbutz@hotmail.com

Dear Lena, I would love to exchange info on the Keyser and Eash lines. My family was mostly in Marshall Co., IN although some Keysers were in Elkhart Co. IN. What is your line. Solomon Keyser born Nov. 15, 1805 lived in Marshall Co. IN and married Sarah Domer June 26, 1828 in Holmes Co., OH. They are buried in the Huff Cemetery NW of Bremen, IN. They were the parents to Lydia, Elizabeth, Susanna, Jacob, Absalom, Hannah and Sarah. All lived and died in Marshall Co., IN. after the family moved from Tuscarawas Co., OH to Marshall Co., IN in ca. 1851. Hope this fits. My husband in in the line of Eash. the spelling can be Esh, Eash, Esch, and Oesch. Hope to hear from you. Sharon

The Salome Eash/Frank Zinn marriage was where the Wobser name starts. Salome was the mother of Martha Pauline Zinn who married Frederick Bernard Wobser of Sandusky. She still lives in Sandusky and is 90. Lena

Dear Lena, This certainly has me puzzled. My Keyser line was in Holmes Co., and moved to one of three sites with Marshall Co., IN being the site where most of the Keyser males moved. One was to southern IN, Owen Co. and other to MI. I have a few Mary Keyser women who are unmarried, but the age does not fit your Mary Keyser born 1851. There were some other Keyser spellings in Holmes Co., OH, maybe she fits in one of those lines. I will still keep checking. You do not know the parents. Correct? Thanks for your help and your info. Sharon

Sorry I don't have parents for Mary. Bens parents were Jacob Eash b-08/07/1815 d-06/08/1886 and Christina Yoder b-04/14/1814 d-06/18/1846. His siblings were Barbara,Noah,Catharine,Samuel,Mary,Jacob J.,Moses J., 2 Infants, Jonas J., Rachel and Christina. I have lots of Eash members. Keysers I have are Andrew, no dates/Christina, no dates/Perry, No dates and Great Grandmother, not even a name. Let me know if I can help more. I know alot of the Eash family were in Holmes Cnty. Mary is buried in Prairie St. Cemetery if that helps. Lena
