MANSFIELD: Charles "Chuck" J. Withrow, 66, of Mansfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 29, 2014 following an extended illness.

Chuck was born December 1, 1947 in Mansfield and was the son of the late Charles Lewis and Clara Boe (Erwin) Withrow.
He was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne during the VietNam Era, receiving a purple heart.
He had worked for 30 years as a crane operator for Armco / AK Steel.
Chuck was an active member of Stewart Road Church of God, and loved helping with Sunday School for the past 10 years. He enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, hunting, and driving.

Along with his wife of over 27 years, Beverly J. (McCrea) Withrow, Chuck is survived by three sons, Robbie (Mary Anne) Withrow of Dayton, Eric Withrow of Mansfield, and Adam (Nikki) Withrow of Mansfield; three daughters, Brenda Gray of Ashland, Ohio, Debbie Morton of Mansfield, and Mary Arbutina of Mansfield; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean (Harold) Darr of Mansfield; niece, Shawna Fitzpatrick of Ashland; and nephew, James Darr.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents

Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Stewart Road Church of God, 1425 N. Stewart Road, Mansfield. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Samuel Wright officiating.
Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park, with full military honors performed by Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
