Wondering if this John Witherell could be father of James Witherell who appears in Dover, NH by 1723. John was married to Mercy Snow and was the son of Lt John Witherell. He moved from Scituate to Eastham. The first recorded child is Grace Witherell, but her parents were in their 30s and many Witherell records in this town were lost, so I am thinking there may have been children born before Grace.
