I do not have much on Lucinda Witheral.
All of the information that I have seen indicates that she was born in 1774 in Sullivan County (then part of Ulster County), NY. The 1774 birth date seems quite early for that area of New York.
Her son James Witheral Hall (1801-1842) has his middle name recorded in a land grant in White County, Indiana.
Lucinda’s grandson, James Witheral Hall (1842-1923), son of William Hall, also carries the Witheral name as his middle name.
Lucinda’s youngest son, George Washington Hall (1818 – 1893) is recorded in the 1880 census in Polk County, Iowa (Des Moines area). His father’s birthplace is listed as Connecticut, which I believe is correct, and his mother’s birthplace as Rhode Island.
