Hello! I am looking for genealogy information on my grandfather, Clayton Henry Witherell, who was born in Sombra township, ontario during the late 1890s and immigrated to Detroit, michigan around the 1920s decade. i have read the Witherell book, written by Peter Witherell already which was an excellent book that traced my family ancesteral line. I believe i am related to Benjamin and james witherell, who lived in Michigan during late 1700s and early 1800s. one of them was a judge who has a street named after him in downtown detroit. It appears there was various times when my ancestors moved around the united states. I heard a story that the first Witherell of my ancestoral line came over in the mayflower ship in 1600s, working as a cabin boy. Also, i am trying to find out whether or not i have a distant link to the Witherell father and son duo who are antique appraisers on the Antique roadshow on pbs. I have an interest in antiques too.
