William A. Winters, 51, of 1962 Johnston Street, passed away surrounded by his family at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, due to a sudden illness.

Bill and his wife, the former Tina M. Weber, would have observed their 13th anniversary Aug. 17.

Bill worked at Frito-Lay for 30 years, was a member of the Polish Club and an avid Rams fan.

Bill had many friends because he lived life with kindness, lived through hardships with grace, and loved wholeheartedly.

Born Oct. 19, 1957 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of William O. and Martha Ann Pletcher Winters.

Surviving besides his wife and his mother of Jersey Shore, are daughters, Jennifer L. (Mark R. Evans) Winters of South Williamsport and Josie M. (Tara J. Seaks) Wollet of Williamsport; a son, Adam C. (Natalie R. LaRocca) Wollet of Jacksonville, Fla; sisters, Shirley L. Apker and Vickey L. (Gary) Bardo, both of Jersey Shore; a grandson, Conner William Evans; a niece and a nephew and his dog, Toby.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. No visitation.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport or the National Transplant Society, 3149 Dundee Road, Suite 314, Northbrook, IL 60062.
