"He offers no theory or documentation for any alternative ancestry"
On the contrary I said that I do not find EITHER explanation for the forebears to be proven.
Why would I supply documentation when I have not posited my own theory? I said merely that, in my opinion, so far no theory is conclusive proof.
The DNA connection seems to be a shared ancestor in Ohio, who was born in NJ. (For what it is worth I do not recall any of the DNA stuff you quoted above, being in the copy and paste you sent me, but I admit I skimmed over portions of it, since I found it a bit convoluted.)
This does not prove a connection to PA, or that the NJ man had a father from PA.
A mismatch to someone from an ancient line could indicate an NPE somewhere along the way.
Not everyone is going to voice criticism, even when asked for their 'feedback' - for precisely the reasons we are seeing here. The way some will react to said criticism is less than objective.
We all have theories as to our family trees; but this is the first time I've been publicly berated simply for not adhering to someone's theory.
