The word "debunked" means a conclusion was reached.
"In the past many confused the Winners with the Winnes of New Amsterdam (New York City). This debunks that."
As for "no proofs" in New Jersey - I have more than one line from New Jersey. There are birth, marriage and death records, and church records, and meeting house records; military records, census records, land records, history books, etc., etc.
One does not need to disprove something (to others), to disbelieve it. The burden of proof is on the person who claims they have proven the line began in Pennsylvania, and that they have debunked the other line's origins.
I haven't claimed to offer another theory. I simply said that I do not find any theory thus far presented to be conclusively proven.
You took extreme umbrage, it seems, at my lack of belief; so I posted my reason(s), which I think are reasonable.
I do notice that not one of the people from the thread here has returned to sing the theory's praises. Maybe they meant to, and forgot.
By the way it is not really kosher to post private email correspondence and addresses onto a public message board, let alone share with others, without prior permission. Perhaps you had that, but, when I see private emails being posted by someone other than the sender - I cringe a bit.
When you asked for feedback, did you really mean it? It does not seem so to me.
