I am trying to find someone researching the Wingate family who lived in NC in the early 1800s. I am researching my JONES line and supposedly in the 1780s to the early 1800s one of the Wingate women married a JONES. They were in Anson Co., NC in the 1790 census. Supposedly, Elizabeth Wingate married Phillip Jones. I can find no documentation. ANY help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. BRochevot@aol.com
