Hello. I am trying to find some info on the Wimberly's from Arkansas for a friend of mine. We just started her genealogy, but here's what we have so far:

John Walter Wimberly--dates unknown
md. Rosie Ward--d: abt. 1962 Arkansas
Children:
son--Clardell Wimberly--d: Delaware
son--Joe Louis Wimberly--living
daughter--Juel Wimberly--living
daughter--Verla Mae Wimberly--living
son--John Walter Wimberly Jr.--living
daughter--Alma Lee Wimberly--d: 1997 (mother of my friend)

Earl Cornelius Brown--b: 22, June, 1929, still living (father of my friend, married Alma Lee Wimberly)
father of Earl-- Forest Brown-- dates unknown
mother of Earl-- Mabel Thornton--dates unknown

I have been in contact with my friend and have not even found her family on a census record. The Wimberly's lived around Arkadelphia, Clark Co. area, and possibly El Dorado, Union Co.. The Brown's lived in the same area as far as we can tell and were told. Her family is black/colored/negro, and I know it will be a little hard to search for them.
