Found in the "History of Zion Church, Winn Parish, LA" on the Winn Parish, LA. web site. Mr. Clem Wilson settled in about 1845 on the place known as the Uncle George Davidson place. He was a devoted Christian and one of the organizers of the Mt. Zion Church. It appears the he was from Alabama. He was the grandfather of Mr. Hershel Hughes and Mrs. Leza McLemore, in fact, all the Hughes and Neal families living here. Can anyone tell me why (how) he is the grandfather of the Neal family?
