"... Johann Willmert (b.9 JAN 1839) and his wife Henbrietta Hubner (b. 5 OCT 1837). They arrived in the USA In Jun 1881 and moved to Milwaukee, WI. They brought with them their children Wilhelmine, Antonio, and Gustav (my gr grandfather). ... Johann Willmert may have had a brother Carl August Willmert who lived in Milwaukee during the same period."

There's a match to your Henriette Willmert (b. 1837) and a Carl August Willmert found in "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). Also a reference to C. A. Willmert in the death notices for a young child. But there's also the entry of divorce proceedings of a Henriette and John Wilmert in August 1887. There are about 30 Willmert entries in the growing index. Surnames referenced with Willmert include Leonard & Schoepske. Did Gustav die in 1942? There was an obit. in the German paper for a Gustave A. Willmert.
