Hello, I have just started working with the geneology of my family. Apparently my great great grandfather was John Shock Willis also.

My Aunt said that he was married to Elizabeth Hale (mother to Cassie Willis) and that Elizabeth was 1/4 Cherokee Indian blood. Can you tell me if you have any information about their Indian blood. The 1900 censis said they all lived in Chickasaw Nation Indian Territory.
