I am looking for my fathers' history. He died a few years ago and I found his birth certificate. Listed is only his mothers name Rosa Williams, age 23, no father is listed. He was born in Norfolk, Va on August 30,1928. William Hubert Williams was raised in a small town called Capron, Va with a couple named James and Luttie Aswell. My father believed his last name was Aswell until he was 17 and needed his birth certificate to join the airforce. He was told he had a sister named Ruth who also lived in VA. I met her once in the early 1970's. I was young and she seemed much older than my father. As you can see I have very little to go on. If anyone has anything they can help me link this together I would very much like to put my family history together for my childern.
