Frank Greenwood, Taylors
Frank Allan Greenwood, 87, of 513 St. Mark Road, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at his home.
A native of Anderson County, son of the late John DeBronce and Margie Seay Greenwood. He was a retired employee of Durham Life Insurance Co. and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Marion Dawn Wilbanks Greenwood of the home; two daughters, Dawn G. Badger of Taylors, and Ruth G. Hamilton of Raleigh, N.C.; two brothers, Elmer Tinsley and Leroy Tinsley, both of Anderson; six grandchildren, Dr. John Badger, Mrs. Stacy Dodds, Mrs. Heather Varghese, Trey Hamilton, Mrs. Haley Conlan and Garrett Hamilton; and seven great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at Taylors First Baptist Church Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jack Deskins, Hugh Badger and the Rev. Joe Harvey. Burial will be held at the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dr. John Badger, Dr. Russel Dodds, Trey Hamilton, Garrett Hamilton, Alan Varghese and Peter Conlan.
Honorary escort will be the members of the Henry Howard Sunday School Class of Taylors First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at the home.
