I am searching for the parents and ancestors of Mary Eliza Wiggins. All the census's and trees I can find her in document that she was born 6/28/1849 in Alabama, and died 5/28/1921 in Clarke County, Alabama She is buried in Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery in the McVay Community, Jackson, Clarke County, Alabama. She married John Thomas McLendon on 12/24/1872 in Clarke County. John's dates are: 3/17/1845 - 2/27/1924. Although I have several Mary Eliza Wiggins's in my Wiggins research, I do not have specifics about this particular one. In the 1850 census, there is a Mary A E Wiggins, age 1, residing in the home of her parents, Stephen and Jane Wiggins in Southern Division, Dale County, Alabama; both Stephen and Jane were born in South Carolina; all the children on this census were born in Alabama. However, I have not been able to document that this is the same Mary Eliza Wiggins who married John Thomas McLendon.
