Lee,

You indicate you know a lot about Widners in Cullman Co. The Widners of Cullman lived in the same places as some of my Walkers in GA and in Cullman. It could be that they moved into Cullman at the same time from Carroll Co. GA.

I have one kinsman who married a Widner woman. This is my family tree entry for them:

Hubert B. Walker, b. 30 Jun. 1911, Cullman Co. AL. d. 15 June 1997, Birmingham AL (1). m. 22 Sep. 1928 in Cullman Co. AL – Tressie Carmon Widner, b. 20 July 1912. d. 31 Aug. 1974, Winter Haven, Polk Co. FL (SSDI). Both buried in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Berlin AL (Photo of Grave on file). Couple shows on 1930 Cullman Co. AL census, living in Berlin, next door to Hubert's father, William Martin Walker.

Do you have anything in your files that can tell me more about this couple? I'd like to have a full listing of their children, along with birthdates of each of them. If you know of someone else who may know, please refer me to them.

I appreciate your time and your interest in genealogy.

Sincerely,
Steve Stone
