There is a Lige D. Widener Find-a-grave #69493482. If your Lige had a son....maybe this is him.
I am enclosing the wedding announcement for Mr. Widener....I really think the ELIZA is a typo...I find a Etta Widener with husband Lige..
Etta and I think LIGE not Eliza were married in Boulder County Colorado, which is right next to Weld County...anyway...maybe a new lead for you.

(Note: I believe this announcement has the wrong name for Mr. Widener...I think his name was Lige D. Widener Find-a-grave memorial # 69493482...with a wife Etta.
Someone would have to look further into this to verify.
Ett's father's (Charles) memorial # is 20260728.
