I am going thru the same thing. I am looking for information about Joshua Ballard Wickham b: 1766 in Franklin Co. VA and died in 1892 (yes 1892, that made him 126 yrs old) in Ottumwa, Iowa. I know he had a granddaughter, Elinor or Eleanor Wickham born in Floyd Co, VA in 1833 and she died in 1885 in Des Moines, Iowa. Elinor married Charles Alexander Castle and when she passed away he supposedly married her sister Matilda in 1886. Charles and Elinor would have been gg-grandparents.
