Family lore has it we are related to William Wykeham, Bishop of Winchester, but I am stuck at Elizabeth Wickham b abt 1810 in Hastings, Sussex. She married John Thompsett Noakes, abt 1836. It is likely she was related to the Wickhams of Brockley, Kent (she may even have lived in Brockley) - John Thompsett came from Brockley. She had at least one sister, Anne, b abt 1807 in Hastings. I think their father was Humphrey Wickham.
