I had a family tree for the whittemores dating back over 1000 years. I do not recall that name but do know all whittemores in the U.S.A. are ancesters of Thomas Whittemore. There is a book written about the family tree from back then. Also our family tree has been reconized by the U. S. congress as being true and authentic back in 1897.
