I am looking into this family for a friend who is descended from Thomas, first son as far as I can remember. At the moment I am up to the eyeballs writing a book on another of his ancestors, but intend to follow up the Whitmores sometime when finished. Meanwhile i think i should contribute, so am happy to get the will and bastardy order (to share) if this is possible, from the record office. It is even further for you to go than me, but presumably it can be done by post?
