Thank you for your reply. The Joshua you mention, son of Ebeneezer has caught my eye in the past. I can't remember if I just couldn't prove it was the same person, or if I ruled him out for some other reason. I'll go back again and take a second look. Thank you for your suggestion, I'll let you know if I find anything further. I suspect that the Joshua in Oneida county dies between 1820-30. There is another Joshua found in a mental hospital years later, I've wondered if he could have been a son? More to investigate!
