I want to visit the ancestral home of the Whitley family in England. My great great grandfather was Haywood Sowell Whitley, born in 1827 in Nash, North Carolina. His son, my great grandfather, was George Washington Whitley, and his son, my grandfather, was John Bunyan Whitley. Does anyone know previous family or how I can find the lineage of the original Whitley clan?
