Her parents are Bert William Whitecotton b. 11-6-1907in Havana, Arkansas d. Oct. 1986 in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Carrie Mae McReynolds Whitecotton b. 12-25-1909 in Danville, Arkansas d. 4-10-71 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. They married on 8-27-1925 in Plainview, Arkansas. Bert William Whitecotton and Carrie Mae McReynolds Whitecotton only had 2 children Carolyn Joyce Whitecotton- my husbands mother

Albert Whitecotton and Mary Hattie Butterfield Whitecotton had 5 children I believe. 3 boys and 2 girls.

We have a lot of information on the McReynolds side back to the Haskell family they married into.
My husband said his grandfather Bert use to say that if they had the last name Whitecotton, he was related. He also said that the Whitecottons had a lot of Indian in them he always referred to the Cherokee. If you can be of any help, we would really appreciate it.
