I am still searching for the ancestors of Henry Jarvis WHITE and his father Jarvis WHITE and possible his father Nicholas WHITE possible of Pennsylvania, US. Henry was born in 1842 eldest son of Jarvis WHITE. Henry had a brother Elmer and two sisters Alma and Elena. The Jarvis WHITE family may have settled in Brockton Massachusetts.
"Jarvis White of the Nicholas White family was already 46 years old and had been married before. There were four children of his marriage to _____Swain, possibly living in Pennsylvania. He returned to
Massachusetts and married Mary Littlefield Hunt 28 February 1841 in Randolph, MA. They moved to Boston where at least three children were born into their home: Henry J (b.1842), Elmer K. (b.1845), Alma Elena (b. 1847). Jarvis was a piano forte and cabinet maker. They moved to Brockton, MA, where he died in 1878. Henry and Alma Elena, children of their marriage, continued to live in the Plymouth/Norfolk area. Mary Stoddard Littlefield White of 187 Pleasant ST., Brockton, MA, died 25 Mar 1914 at the age of 97-11-18, just prior to her 98th birthday and was buried in Union Cemetery, Brockton.
