I am looking for any information concerning a James Whipple who lived in Adams County Indiana in the 1870's-1880's. He was killed by a train outside of Decatur in 1883.James was also a Civil War Veteran. His wife, Mary Whipple then moved to Grant County, Indiana where she died in 1902.
Their son, Cornelius Whipple, was my grandfather.
