Can anyone help please. I thought all my Whettons came from Clay Cross but have now found a Gt Gt Grandfather named John who married in Swepstone Leicester, 25.7.1813. to Ann Statham.I know that they were in Clay Cross by 3/12/1842 when my Gt Grandfather George was born but would love to know what other children they had and where.I also know that they had Thomas in Clay Cross in 1851.I would also love to find out what other WHETTONS my Gt Gt Grandfather left behind in Swepstone.Any help greatly appreciated. - Christine Smith
