im susan edwards nee whailing my dad was brian whailing and his grandmother was bridget so john was his uncle and looking at your photos of john he is the spitting image of my dad especially when my dad was young in his raf uniform during his national service, also there is a strong resemblance to my nephew robert who is 22 my brother garrys son im now trying to get a photo of my grandfather leonard to see what he looked like, although i have mixed feelings about him abandoning 4 children when his wife died, and moving back to leicester and starting a new family although ive been in touch with leonards grandaughter through ancestry and she sounds very nice, i know my mother has exchanged photos with her father and some of them look like my brother so that must come from leonard. hoping to hear from you, as this makes us second cousins
