I am related to Weyna/Waina/Vaina family also. My great great grandmother was Paulina Weyna (Kulak from lithuania)and my great grandmother was Veronica Waina who came to U.S in 1912 and lived in Pittsburgh until she died in 1987. She had siblings named Josephine,John,Ignac (stayed in Lith)and Ona (Mary anne). Her father's name was Ralph Wain/Woina/Waina who died in cleveland in 1946. Any Relation?

My great grandfathers name was Andrew Paul Weyna. He was married to Mary Moska. They lived in Wilkes-Barre,Pa. Are these the same ancestors as yours? I have additional info on the family.

I am starting to look into the Weyna family history and I know my great grandfather was Anthony Weyna, married to Martha. They lived in Chicago. My grandfather was George, he married Lucilly Wathen and lived in Denver, Colorado. He died of a burst appendic when my father was young. They had 4 children, John, Barbara, June, Richard (my father). I always heard we were from Pozna, Poland but not sure when they came over. Martha may have been from Kalamyska (sp)? Thanks for any help.

I saw your post about the Weyna's from Chicago. I am interested in tracing back into Poland. I got as far as Shamokin. My grandfather was Stanley Anthony Weyna.

I have been tracing my Wieczorek family tree from Chicago and found that my great-great-great grandmother was a Weyna from Poland. I have alot of information on the Weyna family and would be happy to share it. lapotsky@sunlink.net

I know you are my first cousin because I am the daughter of Richard Weyna, your fathers brother. I am dissapointed that we never had the opportunity to know each other through the years.

Have you been able to track down any of the Weyna family history? I would really be interested.

Did you lose your brother John a couple of years ago? I'm very sorry if you did. I don't get very much information here in Denver.

I am trying to locate any family members that might be related My fathers Dad was Named George Weyna and came from Il. If anyone knows of this person Please contact me
George Died when my father John was about 13 years old in Colorado he fathered 4 children.
