Alberta C. Pellman
HEBRON - Alberta C. Pellman, 92, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, at Countryside Nursing Home in Jefferson. She was born May 20, 1910, at Delavan Lake, to Albert and Blanche (nee Bowlsby) Weyhrauch. Alberta moved to Oconomowoc at age 13 and graduated from high school in 1928.
On June 16, 1934, she was united in marriage to Edward Pellman in Waukesha. Together they farmed in southeastern Wisconsin until moving to Jefferson County in 1951, where they owned and operated a dairy farm. Alberta was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church and a member of the Hebron United Methodist Women’s Group.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Merrill) Hachtel of Jefferson and Karen Bowen of Palmyra; a sister, May Goodknight of Fair Oaks, Calif.; one brother, Bernard Weyhrauch of California; her grandchildren, Robert Hachtel, Rebecca Hachtel, Steven Bowen and Susan Bowen; one great-grandson; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward, and a sister, Velma Osborne.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Mealy’s Funeral Home, 320 W. Main St., Palmyra; the Rev. Karen Klatt will officiate. Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Delavan Cemetery.
If desired, memorials may be made to Hebron Methodist Church or the heart fund.
