Thanks for your reply. I keep thinking this Whitmore came from either CT or MA originally but find no proof. I believe his daughter ended up in Marcellus, NY and that a brother named Samuel lived near her for awhile. Also, Ruel, George,& Jabiz Whitmore are mentioned in the Marcellus town cemetery. I just can't find the missing links - the search continues.
