I'm looking for information on James West, born around 1819 in Pennsylvania, died 1894 in Gratiot, WI. He was married to Emeline Wheaton and, according to census information, they had the following children: Nancy West, Charles West, George West, Freeman West, Emma West, Virginia West, and Fanny West. Census info says that James mother was born in PA and his father was born in NY. I am trying to find out where the West family emigrated here from, but I can't get any further back than James. Any help is greatly appreciated!
