George West my great-uncle. He was born about 1917 and he died about 1984 or 1985. His wife's name was Marie, she may have been a few years younger than him. I am not sure how many children he had or if he had any at all. He was from Missouri,Oklahoma or Kansas. I know that he died in Oklahoma and he may be buried in Krater,Missouri. Hello. I am doing some research and came across your post. I found two copper name plates. They are round and were found in adjacent fields in Jessamine Co., Ky, while hunting arrowheads. One has the name West Chapin, engraved in it, and the other one has the name Marie De Retz. I was trying to find out exactly what they were used for . They are about the size of a half dollar and each has a whole in the top above the name.They appear to be old although not extremley as I can make out the engraving .Jamie
