What a wonderful surprise. I am almost positive that Gram Welter had a brother named John, but I thought that he died in Chicago. I will call my uncle (her son) tomorrow and find out for you. I know how much this means to you. My dad's real father died when he was just two years old. His mother re-married and he never saw his relatives again.
