The children of Dennis and Mary (Crean) Welch were born in Quincy and Cambridge, Massachusetts. The childrens' mother died in Cambridge as did their father; the mother died 11 July 1941 and the father died 23 November 1896. I know they were married in Salem, Massachusetts on 25 November 1880 and they had six children: Mary J. Welch (b. -- August 1881), Katherine "Katie" Welch (b. 25 February 1883-d. 02 August 1889), Walter William Welch (b. 09 August 1884-d. 14 May 1974 in Medford, MA), Cornelius Welch (b. 06 August 1886-d. 10 July 1889), Anne "Annie" Welch (b. 29 August 1888-29 July 1889), and John Welch (b. -- May 1894-d. 1935).
