(Originally From Ireland) My Grandmother, Emma Iris Welch, was from Minerva, NY. Her Dad owned a home in North Creek, NY...her sister, Grace, and her husband, George lived in that dwelling until death in late 1960's or early 1970's. There was another sister named, Josephine Welch...have no info on her. A brother named Frank Welch, had a daughter named, Diane...also ,moved to Tupper Lake...lived near Sunmount, in Tupper Lake. My mom...Catherine "Burnell" Drum told me that her Grandad built the "red" house near Sunmount. Right hand side as you come into town, almost to Shaheen's IGA. After living in Minerva and North Creek, they moved to Tupper Lake, NY. My Grandpa, Benjamin Burnell worked at Sunmount...died in the 1970's. Grandma Emma Iris "Welch" Burnell died also in the 1970's. They lived at 10 Lindsay Avenue. Uncle Bob Burnell died of cancer in early 1970's. Uncle Dick Burnell Died a couple of years ago. My Mom, Catherine Burnell, died in 1997. My Dad, Douglas Raymond Drum...died in 1981. Just wanting more info...please help if you can...
