The Weidner graveyard in Oley in falling in. Berks County Association For Graveyard Preservation is looking into repairing that back wall that collapsed. The property owner has contributed and we are looking to gather up descendants to help fundraise for the repairs. This Organization when possible will match contrbutions and get the work done. Please check out the website www.bcagp.org. for information on the group and check out facebook for pictures of about 80 Berks County Historical graveyards. The next meeting is April 11th at 2pm at the Oley Legion Hall. If you contribute specify that it is for the WEIDNER in Oley that is on Bertolet Mill Road because there are two Weidner graveyards. Please contact family members and send them to the BCAGP website and facebook. If enough people kick in a couple bucks this can be done! You are all welcome to use the pictures of the graveyard I have posted here!
