Clair Edmiston, aged 26 years, a well known young man of Indiana, died at his home on South Eleventh street, with pneumonia on Saturday evening. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edmiston, of Center township, and was a lifelong resident of Indiana. He had been employed as a moulder at the Indiana Foundry Company and was an expert in that line. He was highly esteemed by his fellow workmen and by all who knew him. He was a member of Indiana Lodge of Odd Fellows. Besides his parents, he leaves a widow and two sons, Raymond and James Edmiston. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon by Rev. B. W. Hutchinson and burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The widow of the deceased and two children have pneumonia and the parents of the dead young man are suffering from influenza. All are at the Edmiston home on South Eleventh street.


They all recovered, and by the time of her father's death in 1935 Mary had remarried someone named McCormick.
