Hi, I was born Betty lee Watts, gr.grnddaughter of James and Ader Watts...I too, was always told we were related to Cherokee Tribe in OK...My grandmother and daddy told me we were related to a woman known as the Godmaother of Ok City. I have read of Corn Tassel or Little Tassel Watts but can't find the connection to my Alabama and N.C.families. Anyone have this same story? B
