We are Waswick, origionally Wasvick. Father Earl Wasvick, Grandfather William who was a brother to Alfred.
Bertha and Orin were the parents. Orm Vasvick & Sesilia were the parents of Orin. We recently found the passenger list from Norway.
Much of the family information came from a sister, Hazel who was Alfred Wasvick's daughter and lives in Sioux Falls.
The name was spelled with V's and W's.
If we can be of help pleas contact us.
Our records indicate that Alred died in 1959. He was a farmer at Colton, SD.

Grandfather (Alfred Waswick b. 12/23/1883) alternated spelling name with a v and w. Know he came from Iowa, parents were Orin and Bertha. Would like more information.
