Hi, Just a friendly note to add a bit if info. The origin of the name "Warnock" is Scottish, from Scotland. They became a political "handful" or problem for the Crown, & were ordered to leave Scotland, along with many other freedom-loving Clans. They were granted lands in N Ireland first, then migrated south a bit. They probably were originally Church of England/Anglican first, then Presbyterian, and later Methodist (most liberal of the day). Our WARNOCK's were in US by late 1600's, early 1700's, Va, & the Carolina Colonies, SC, (Edgefield Dist) & NC. Later in Georgia (Early & Calhoun Co's) , Florida (Citrus & Orange Co's) & Texas. Hope this helps. Kathleen
