Mrs. STOPPS, Born Here 91 Years Ago, Dies
Mrs. Jennie B. STOPPS, 91, one of Aurora's oldest, native born residents, died at her home, 55 S. Root St., late last night. She was born in Aurora on April 8, 1859, and was the widow of George Warner STOPPS well known watchmaker employed by the Trask and Plain jewelers when located at Fox and Broadway years ago.
Surviving are one son, George and one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Zada) REES, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Downs funeral home Thursday morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. Samuel W. Voss officiating. Interment to Spring Lake cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
