PHILO: James W. Warne, 83 of Philo, Ohio, passed away October 18, 2014 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.

Jim was born March 14, 1931 in Blue Rock, Ohio, the son of the late Willis and Madge (Cain) Warne. He worked as a custodian for the Franklin Local School District for over 30 years working at the Jr. High School on Sandy Lane and also a school bus driver.
He was a member of the former Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and a member of Freeland Valley Antique Power Club.Jim is survived by a son, Rick (Teresa) Warne of Zanesville; a daughter, Patty (Kenny) Paul of Coshocton, OH; his two grandchildren, Kyle Paul and Angela Warne.
In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his brother, Walter Warne, his sisters, Fauna Maxwell and Jessie White and a half-brother, Leo Warne.
Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, Ohio where funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday with Pastor Mark Ballmer officiating.
He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
