Thanks for your reply. My Wards come from Knocknadiha, Tournafulla, County Limerick. Michael Ward left the family farm in 1882 to join the RIC and eventually retired in Letterfrack, County Galway. Except for Michael's family, all other Ward relatives are from the Tournafulla area of County Limerick.
