I am searching for information about my great grandfather, Amos Pickering Ward (Captain Pick). He was born in Maine and died in Rockport, New Brunswick, Canada. He was married to Loretta Tower of Canada. I have no dates, however, they had 10 children, one of which was my grandfather, Lester Leaman Ward. He was born in Rockport, New Brunswick Canada on December 16, 1884. He was a master mariner with a ship called Genevieve. His brothers and sisters were Harry, Stephen, Hibbert, Wendell, Mary, Charles, Rorvena (?), William and Arden. They would have been born in New Brunswick, Canada or Maine. I understand Captain Pick left his wife and children to head out to the gold country but didn't make his fortune and returned home after a time. If anyone has a clue about Amos Ward, Please let me know
